The genesis of Ron Hill Automatics began at The Gap, Brisbane in 1975, establishing the foundations of our technical expertise and good old fashioned customer service. As the business grew, Ron brought in Bill Olah as a partner, whose dedication and organisational knowledge helped cement RHA’s reputation as a leading Automatic Transmission specialist workshop.
For over 50 years, RHA has continually adapted to changing vehicle generations and evolving automatic transmission technologies. This commitment ensures that regardless of your vehicle’s age, we hold the technical capability to deliver reliable results.

A Generational Focus on Specialisation
Ron Hill retired from the business two decades ago, leaving behind a strong foundation built on automatic transmission expertise and genuine customer service. For more than 30 years, Bill Olah has been a core part of RHA, helping shape the workshop into the specialist operation it is today. The business is now led by Bill’s son, Tim, co owner and Managing Director, who continues the legacy established by Ron and strengthened by Bill. Today, RHA continues as a family owned and operated business, with multiple generations actively involved in its day to day operation.
